Matins of Holy Wednesday

The Bridegroom service on Holy Tuesday evening was presided over by His Grace Bishop Iakovos of Claudiopolis. Accompanying him was the Revd Dr Athanasios Melissaris, Protopresbyter of the Œcumenical Throne and Professor at the University of Athens, and the newly ordained Hierodeacon Gregorios Florides, who is currently completing his studies in Greece. At the end of the service, Fr Athanasios blessed the faithful with a talk on the person of St Mary of Egypt.
