Annunciation Liturgy at the Georgian Orthodox Cathedral

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain, Fr Kristian from St Andrew’s was invited to concelebrate and preach at the Georgian Orthodox Cathedral in Stamford Hill, North London, on the occasion of the great feast of the Annunciation of the Mother of God according to the Julian calendar.

The service was presided over by His Eminence Zenon, the Patriarchate of Georgia’s Archbishop of Great Britain and Ireland, who spoke warmly of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople and the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain, expressing his hopes for further and intensified cooperation.

Present at the service was also Her Excellency Sophie Katsarava, Georgia’s Ambassador to the UK.
